Daniel Franco is a Scientific Psychologist at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), Cambridge UK and has Masters level studies in Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience at Sheffield Hallam University (Sheffield, UK). In the laboratory context, he has been a research assistant in projects related to different topics such as neurodegenerative diseases, prospective memory, use of virtual reality in cognitive stimulation, emotional deficits in law offenders. Laborally, he was involved in the rehabilitation of a brain-injured patient (Oliver Zangwill Centre in Ely, UK). Taught Psychology classes at the Universidad Autónoma del Caribe, Barranquilla, Colombia, in the Psychology program. During this time, he worked on the topic of «The neural correlates of the experience of social emotions in young law offenders» and the use of voxel-based volumetry (VBM).
In 2023 he defended his thesis in the PhD in Social Neuroscience and Cognition (DNSC) at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and is currently expanding his knowledge in the lines of research led by Vicente Medel and Agustín Ibáñez.
