Stefanny Salcidua is civil engineering in bioengineering at Adolfo Ibáñez University. Currently, she is a PhD student in complex systems engineering in the same institution. She has previously participated as an intern in the bioengineering innovation center and constantly as a volunteer in different initiatives to promote STEM vocations among girls and young people. Stefanny is working on her thesis aligned with the development of machine learning algorithms that will allow the early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. She is highly motivated to contribute and learn as much as she can.
