Agustina Birba has a PhD in Biology from the National University of Buenos Aires. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the BrainLat Center and EEG Team-leader at the Cognitive Neuroscience Center from Saint Andrew’s University. She is also a teacher at the Magister of Language and Cognition from the National University of Cuyo and at the Magister in Social Neuroscience from ICESI University (Colombia). Her interests and research experience are focused on the neuropsychological aspects as well as the neurophysiologic and neuroanatomical correlates of social cognition processes and language in patients with neurological disorders. She worked on several experimental projects with patients with frontotemporal dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease. She published multiple articles in international leading journals.
