Dr. Dawson is an Assistant Professor at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) NIA Layton Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease Center and OHSU-PSU School of Public Health. Dr. Dawson is also a Senior Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health with the Global Brain Health Institute at the University of California, San Francisco and Trinity College Dublin. His responsibilities will include overall management of the project to ensure adherence to project goals, design, and timetable; directing and coordinating of staff activities; monitoring expenditures of grant funds; and ensuring the project accomplishes its stated objectives in a timely manner. Dr. Dawson will also have responsibility for ensuring the protection of participants’ rights, co-directing evaluation data analysis, preparation of manuscripts for high-impact peer reviewed publications, and the co-development of a larger proposal to scale this work to other regions of the world.
