This project transforms epidemiological research on arts and cultural engagement (ACEng) by addressing its conceptual and methodological limitations. A multidisciplinary global consortium will: (1) redefine theoretical frameworks; (2) expand studies to over 50 countries; (3) explore molecular mechanisms linking ACEng to biological aging; and (4) establish new principles and policies for ACEng as a health behavior.
