Biologic embedding of social inequality and lifestyle in aging and dementia

This project will study how social inequalities and lifestyle factors shape dementia risk in Chile by analyzing plasma biomarkers and accelerated brain aging. By combining biological data with social determinants of health, it seeks to uncover the mechanisms linking inequality, lifestyle, and neurodegeneration. The findings aim to guide personalized interventions and public health strategies sensitive to Chile’s unique context.
