Biografía

Antonia Olguí is a psychologist (B.S.) and neuroscientist, currently completing her master’s (M.Sc. candidate) in Social and Cognitive Neuroscience at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Her thesis investigates the FRN and P300 ERP components during a Probabilistic Categorization Task under varying conditions of feedback reliability, work she has presented at CogSci 2024 (Rotterdam) and SCP 2025 (Valdivia).

She currently works as EEG technical staff, responsible for data acquisition and quality control of the recordings, on a FONDECYT project led by Agustín Ibáñez on the biological embedding of social inequality and lifestyle in aging and dementia. She is also a co-author of a publication in Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews (Vol. 183, 2026).

Antonia joins BrainLat with particular interest in pursuing Dr. Claudia Durán-Aniotz’s line of research on dementia biomarkers, seeking to contribute to the multinational collaborative research on brain health led by the center in Latin America, mainly within the framework of the Multi-Partner Consortium to Expand Dementia Research in Latin America (ReDLat).
