Carolina is a psychologist who graduated from Colombia’s Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. She received a master’s degree in Social Neuroscience from Universidad Diego Portales after specializing in child neuropsychology at Colombia’s Universidad Javeriana. Actually, she is a PhD student in Social Neuroscience and Cognition at Universidad Adolfo Ibanez, under the leadership of Dr. Maria Josefina Escobar. Her research focuses on parental burnout: biomarkers, and the effects on the development of children’s executive functioning. Carolina is also a member of the Universidad del Desarrollo at Adolescence and Childhood Family Laboratory (FAIN-UDD), where she works with Dr. Daniela Aldoney on the project «Bidirectional Relationships between Self-regulation and Mother/Father-Child Dyadic Synchrony from a Physiological and Behavioral Perspective».
